SWCD 59th Annual Meeting Date Set   

The date has been set for the Van Wert SWCD's 59th Annual Meeting.  It will be held Sunday,  August 24 together with the Farm Bureau annual meeting at the Farm Bureau tent at the Van Wert County Fair Grounds, Van Wert.

  Farm Bureau will begin the evening with their  meeting from 5—6:00.   

  The meal will be at 6:00.  Hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken sandwiches, table service and drink will be provided.  We ask that those attending the meeting bring a dish or dessert to share.  There will be no charge for the dinner.    

  An election will take place to elect one supervisor to the five member SWCD board.  The election will be open  from 6:00—6:30 p.m.    Voter registration tables will be set up along with voting booths.  Candidate information will be available prior to voting. 

   The SWCD Annual Meeting will begin at 7:00 with the election results announced, Cooperator of the Year will be disclosed, door prizes will be drawn for, and various displays will be available to view.

Public Notice of Meeting

  The regular meetings of the Van Wert SWCD shall be held at 8:00 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month, and shall continue until the conclusion of business.  The meetings shall be held at the office located at 1185 Professional Drive, Van Wert, OH in the District Board Room.
